Our church has been diligently working over the past few months to collect, clothes, food, and school supplies for the Statewide Appalachian Christmas Outreach.  This outreach program provides for children in Big Ugly, West Virginia who are in need of clothes and school supplies for the coming year. 

 

We are passionate about this ministry and collect backpacks stuffed with clothes, food, toys, school supplies, shoes, and more each year to deliver to these children. 

Our church is passionate about helping those in need within out own community. We partner with SVCM many times throughout the year to offer a helping hand to those in need in the Swannanoa Valley.

We donate canned foods, host meals, and fundraisers. Keep an eye on our events page for upcoming SVCM opportunities.  

WMU and Baptist Men are the missions organizations within our church. They hold meetings each month to discuss upcoming opportunities for ministry and coordinate with each other to meet the needs of our community.

Missions night is every third Wednesday of the month. 

We would love to have your join us and learn about all the ongoing projects of service in our church.

This past year in WMU and Baptist Men we: 

• Contributed $1,658.81 to the Anne Armstrong Easter Offering

• Raised $200 for Hand in Hand to buy school supplies for homes high school students at Buncombe Community School. 

• Contributed to North Carolina Missions Offering and Baptist Children's Home. 

• Filled 30 red boxes for the Women's Prison Ministry

• Brought Christmas cheer, Santa Clause, and gifts to the 23 residents of Blue Ridge Group Homes.
